Rescue Squad |
Rescue calls comprise the majority of alarms at the Halesite Fire Department. Every member of the department is part of the Rescue Squad. Several members of the Rescue Squad have received special training and have achieved their Emergency Medical Technician - Defibrillator (EMT-D) certification.
Currently their are 2 Ambulances in service at Halesite. The vehicles are as follows:
225 - 1996 Road Rescue Ambulance on a Freightliner Chassis.
2215 - 1999 Horton Ambulance on a Ford F-450 Chassis.
