Halesite Responds to Working Fire on Crescent Beach Drive

Thursday, January 14, 2010

Halesite firefighters were called to a mid-morning fire on Crescent Beach Drive in Huntington on Thursday, January 14th. Smoke was showing on arrival from the soffits and second floor windows. Approximately 40 firefighters from Halesite, Huntington and Centerport quickly knocked down the fire under the command of Chief Andy Magerle. During the alarm, Huntington Manor stood by at Halesite's headquarters with an engine and Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department stood by with an ambulance.
